VA Clinics were part of the waiting lists

What Veterans were upset about was that the VA clinics were basically receptionist area's away from the VA Hospitals to delay appointments before the Vet got to the VA hospital where there appointment would be delayed again. Before the VA clinics the Vet was sent to an appointment by the primary care doctor with everything the place would need to evaluate what they wanted the caregiver to do, then they came up with a scam to have the primary care doctor make an appointment with that area of the caregiver as though it was a separate primary care department personally used by the caregiver, to get an appointment to get care from that areas caregiver. This is still done at the Fargo VA, even though they have the VA clinic that should be able to do what any other private clinic can do, with out the use of a hospital, so the VA Clinic makes an appointment to a place at the VA to get an appointment to have the treatment done that a normal private clinic could do in there area, without sending anyone to a hospital to get something like a colonoscopy. So the Veterans saw the VA Clinics as receptionists aid stations, or a waist to taxpayers money, not to treat Veterans for what hospitals normally don't treat patents for, to ease the hospitals workload, because they can get that treatment at that clinic. Why no one at the time ever thought that this was an excellent idea if expanded on so it could in reality take a load off the VA hospitals, by allowing the Clinics to act like real clinics, not Aid stations and treat people there to take a load off the VA Hospital system. My gripe was the Fargo VA was trying to force me to go to the Alexandria VA clinic in Alexandria MN and I refused because at the Fargo Primary care I could get my dilations done there on my urinary track and as the case of my colon cancer got the colonoscopy done at my home town clinic and if the new Alexandria clinic was able to do got it done right there, so why blame me for something they should have been set up to do as they claimed they were a clinic and that was the reason to force me to go there, and before that I got them done by a PA in a private clinic, paid for by the VA, but was forced to give that up as I was sent to the Fargo VA to be treated. So at first it was OK as everything I needed done was right there. Then they tried to force me to go to the new Alexandria VA clinic, when at the time I would be better off going to the clinic I was going to that was paid for before I went to Fargo as I was getting my urology dilatations and things like colonoscopies done there with no extra trips. But going to the Alexandria VA clinic was like going to my old clinic and getting an appointment to go to the ST Cloud VA hospital to get an appointment to get what I wanted done. where before I could get it all done in my home town and then at Fargo VA without the extra trips and added appointments. So I would have been happy if the Alexandra clinic did this treatment or others like minor x rays or colonoscopy, getting things I could get done at any clinic in MN. And that was what my Lawsuit is all about. They should have done it right there if they were a real clinic but I never got it done.
